Our Story

In 2017, Jeffery was forced to leave his career as a roofer due to severe vertigo. While searching for other work, he began rebinding bibles as a hobby. After awhile, people became interested in purchasing his work. Eventually, Katherine got on board, too, and they launched Post Tenebras Lux Bible Rebinding.

Now, Jeffery is a bivocational pastor, serving as the teaching elder at Covenant Reformed Baptist Church. Katherine left her career as a lawyer to work with Jeffery and to homeschool their kids.

Our Name

Post Tenebras Lux means “after darkness, light.” It was the rallying cry of the Protestant Reformation, a time when bibles became widely available to the general population thanks to printing presses, and people began to read God’s truth for themselves.
